May 30th, 2025 - "I know that without you is something that I could never do"

Life outside college has been quite interesting. Everything is so... different. I feel different. Especially from how I felt before my first semester, and even my second. There are many positive things going on, and definitely some negative. Nonetheless, I'm excited to write another blog after two or so weeks!

I've definitely been missing my friends, but at the same time, I have something to look forward to next semester! I'm glad to get a bit of a break over the summer, but I do wish I could see my friends a bit more. Who knows? Maybe I'll stumble into them at some point, or they'll be in the area and we can hang out.

The biggest life update I can give is that I have a job now! I've actually never had a job before, but my job is not that challenging. It's a decent pay, but I only work part-time. I really wanna get as many hours as I can, as I want to make the most amount of money possible before college (so I can be a not-completely-broke and happy trans girl as opposed to a broke and not-all-that-happy trans girl).

I've also been listening to a SHIT-TON of music. Literally more than I've ever in my entire life. What else am I supposed to do when I'm bored? I've been trying to listen to AT LEAST one release a day, or at least average that, but in reality, I've been averaging about 3 a day (including re-listening to releases I've heard before years ago!).

Here's a mostly accurate list of my listening habits, although it's not entirely accurate because last.fm is annoying and picks some random shit sometimes:

Most of this stuff is pretty good, and here are my strong recs from the 7x7, as they appear from left-to-right, top-to-bottom, bolded will be the absolute favs: "songs", "The Satelite Years", "How It Feels to Be Something On" (I'm seeing SDRE tomorrow, so I was re-listening to a bit of their catalog again!), "Jhazmyne's Lullaby", "Fear of the Fall", "Translating the Name", "Portraits of Past", "LP2", "I Want to Be There", "No Wings to Speak Of", "Personal Best", "Lonely People With Power", "Everyone Asked About You" (literally my favorite EP of all time!), "As Years Pass and Feel Like Seconds", "Love Lost But Not Forgotten", "Upon the Right, I Saw a New Misery", "Reporpoised Phantasies", For Cameron, "Untitled", "Seasons in the Abyss".
Not pictured but still should be checked out: "Amateurs and Professionals" - Penfold, "Calculating Infinity" - The Dillinger Esc Plan, "Cuddlemonster", "Errorzone" - Vein.fm, and "A Different Shade of Blue" - Knocked Loose. You can find more about all the releases mentioned, or not mentioned, on my Rate Your Music page! This will be perfectly up to the day as of writing this, but obviously, if you are viewing this in 2050, my most recent ratings will be different.

For the most part, that's been my life, other than doing what I've always been doing. I'll talk more about stuff tomorrow or whenever I feel like it if I forget something! Bye! X
